Be A Bottler
Description
The production team consists of three positions: Bottler, Fork Lift Operator and Transportation Professional. A Bottler worker cleans and operates bottling equipment, works on the line, puts together and inspects packaged soda, and adheres to all factory safety guidelines and standards. The fork lift operator and transportation professional will operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
Full time, M-F 8-4, no weekends or evenings. Starting pay $15-17/hour, or more depending on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
•Starts assembly and production machinery at beginning of shift.
•Monitors equipment to ensure that products are being bottled properly.
•Makes sure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.
•Addresses problems with production equipment and machinery and fixes them as needed.
•Assembles product cases by hand.
•Inspects completed bottles to ensure they are up to quality standards.
•Packs up completed products and prepares them for warehousing.
•Adheres to all safety guidelines.
•Ensures that all production deadlines are met.
•Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
•Possesses knowledge of the structure and function of production equipment & is able to identify problems or malfunctions with them.
•Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
•Pays close attention to detail.
•Exhibits ability to work cautiously, but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions.
•Is familiar with all factory safety procedures and guidelines.
•Demonstrates ability to use power tools safely and effectively.
•Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time.
Education and Experience
•High school diploma or GED is required.
•Previous experience in factory or warehouse setting is recommended.
